Crimson blooms, market-fresh color, and still-life reception tables.
This summer wedding paired a timeless ceremony at Hunt Chapel with a reception at a private Northwest Arkansas venue—a converted chapel—and we leaned all the way into bright, art-forward floral design. The story was bold but clean: red anthurium, zinnias, marigolds, cosmos, smoky texture, and long trailing accents, all set against soft linens, warm wood chairs, and crisp white tapers. The result felt like a modern still life—romantic, a little unexpected, and full of personality.

The Ceremony: Hunt Chapel
For the ceremony, personal flowers did the talking. The bride carried a dramatic red bouquet featuring anthurium and layered red blooms with smoky, airy texture and long trailing strands that moved beautifully in motion and photos. The groom’s boutonniere echoed that same saturated red—simple, graphic, and intentional.
The Reception: A Converted Chapel in Northwest Arkansas
The reception tables were designed like a runway of color. We built a repeating tablescape rhythm with white taper candles, low bowl arrangements (foam-free, airy, and stem-focused), and a playful “still-life” runner of fruit and market details tucked between blooms. Florals stayed sculptural and light—zinnias, marigolds, cosmos, red anthurium, and textured greenery—so every stem had space to be seen, while the overall table read lush and abundant.
