A Modern Spring Wedding at Crystal Bridges with Sculptural Florals.
This modern spring wedding on the Frank Lloyd Wright Lawn at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art was equal parts architectural and romantic. Designed by The Flowerslinger, the florals were sculptural, seasonal, and thoughtfully placed to honor both the natural landscape and the museum’s iconic design. Our couple, who traveled from Brooklyn, NY to get married in Northwest Arkansas, wanted something elevated and unexpected—something that felt like them.
For the ceremony, we created bold, freestanding floral moments using custom draped pedestals and oversized urns filled with vibrant yellow ranunculus, locally foraged botanicals, and wild florals that reached upward like living sculptures. The reception featured airy, ikebana-inspired arrangements of locally grown poppies, lush peonies, and specialty Dutch tulips in bright citrus, soft blush, and buttery apricot. Each table was intentionally designed with movement and space in mind, letting each stem shine in its own right.
